At the moment, I'm currently taking advantage of today's lack of school to write some music (a piano piece called "As the Sunset Nears") and continue writing my book of the same name.

"As the Sunset Nears" (the melody) was a tune inspired by a duet I wrote for music finals in early 2008. The main melody line was originally written by myself and Daniel Gorman, with the countermelodies and harmonies written by myself.

EDIT: I've decided to turn the melody into a fully orchestrated piece. Yeah, that's right, piano just wasn't enough. Lol.

"As the Sunset Nears" (the book, working title) is a fictional action-drama-supernatural novel that focuses on the life of a high school senior whose life is irreversibly altered by the violent deaths of his parents. This horrible event drives him to extremes, with him ultimately joining a gang of delinquents as his form of escapism. Unbeknownst to him, though, is that the gang is a pack of werewolves locked in a struggle with mankind.
